LED BY Executive Chef Matias Ayala, Arts Café offers buffet, Continental, and Asian à la carte offerings. The chef also offers a live show kitchen, exploring local and Asian favorites such as Crispy Black Pepper Squid, a vast selection of satays, Hong-Kong style double boiled chicken soup, to the signature Raffles oxtail soup. Arts Café also provides a choice of tantalizing desserts including Bitter Orange Crême Brulée covered with a caramel disc and candied fruit and the Rajasthani Gulab Jamun made of fried cottage cheese dumplings with pistachio in rose-petal syrup. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, and the venue’s distinguished feature is its virtual tableau of art and cuisine– where the palette of sights, sounds, textures, and aromas from open kitchens offer a new sensory experience. Arts Café by Raffles is inspired by the grand art master Hendra Gunawan in its interior décor. It is located within the Raffles Hotel Jakarta, with its white, gold, and purple color combination visible throughout the entire dining venue.
