Thai food with an attitude

GREYHOUND CAFÉ

INITIALLY SET-UP as a clothing brand, Greyhound expanded its business to the food and beverage industry in 1997 in Bangkok. The first Greyhound Café was opened at the Emporium shopping complex in Bangkok and became instantly famous, thanks to creative director Bhanu Inkawat and his corporate executive chef Torsit Sarisdiwongsee hands-on approach in creating iconic dishes for Bangkokers. By 2007 it had seven branches in Bangkok, and its first international branch opened in Hong Kong in 2011. Greyhound Cafe made its way to Jakarta in 2017, calling the West Mall of Grand Indonesia its home. Like all Greyhound Cafés, Greyhound Jakarta’s

decor is also dominated by black walls with fresh plants adorning the whole room and pop-art paintings. Its menu covers Asian and European cuisine, with of course a sweet spot on Thai cooking. The menu also covers vegetarian selection, such as Fettuccini with grilled vegetables in pesto sauce and Grilled pumpkin and tofu salad. Greyhound has an extensive noodle menu, with favorites including Phad Thai with fresh shrimp and Fried noodle with sea bass. Matching the food are a variety of drinks, with a highlight on their healthy cocktail options in the likes of Passion Fashion (passion fruit, pineapple, lime juice, mint syrup).
